TRANSCENDENTAL KNOWLEDGE

TRANSCENDENTAL KNOWLEDGE

God Shri Krishna in Bhagavad-Gita had given this transcendental knowledge to Sun god and Sun god has given this transcendental knowledge to Manu and Manu had instructed it to Iksvaku. The knowledge thus moves forward through a chain of succession of disciples but the chain got broken in the course of time and knowledge seemed to be lost. The moral discipline and principles of society were getting low in that era so God Shri Krishna had to deliver it to Arjuna who was just a medium but the future generations of human beings are the real audience of this transcendental knowledge. God Shri Krishna has taken many births since time immemorial and he knows all of them but human being do not remember their past birth as their knowledge is blocked by ignorance. Whenever there is a decline in righteousness and good people are in danger then God Krishna will take birth to save them from bad peoples and reconstitution of Dharma. To attain transcendental love of God Shri Krishna, people have to eradicate attachment, fear, anger, lust, greed from them and get them purified by the knowledge of god and take refuge in God Shri Krishna.

God gives rewards to living entities as per their degree of submission to God. Everyone follows the gods’ path in all respects. Due to their worship, a demigod gives favourable results to the activities of their worshipers but sources of these results is God Shri Krishna himself. God Shri Krishna is the creator of four divisions of human society but he never takes claim of this and always remains as no doer and not changeable. This is the reason why he is not forced to take birth and remain above three modes of material nature.

One who acts in devotional service renouncing the fruit of his actions, and whose doubt have been destroyed by transcendental knowledge, is situated factually in the self. Thus he is not bound by the reactions of work, O conquerer of riches.
-From book bhagavad Gita as it is

God never desires the results of his action therefore work can not bound him to the reactions of actions. The work has no power to affect God. The persons who follow God’s way while doing their work without desiring results for sense gratifications also do not get entangled by work and are not compelled to take birth again and get themselves liberated from the cycle of birth and death. All the liberated soul in ancient times follows this way of liberation. He does not indulge in luxuries and put no claim of proprietorship over his property and things possessed by him. He lives a simple life without envy and works for essential things in life only with the controlled mind and intelligence and remains free from anxieties and dualities and lives a life of equilibrium in happiness and sorrow. He remains satisfied with the achievement which comes with the grace of God by doing spiritual activities in which whatever is consumed is absolute and whatever is offered is also spiritual in nature and he finally moves forward to the supreme eternal atmosphere. No one can live happily without performing sacrifices in this life and afterlife. There are different types of sacrifices such as meditation with control of inhaling and exhaling air, giving alms to poor, feeding birds and animals, work for the betterment of society, giving away accumulated wealth and property for the betterment of society but the cultivation of spiritual knowledge is better than the sacrifice of property and wealth.

A faithful man who is dedicated to the transcendental knowledge and who subdues his senses is eligible to receive such knowledge, and having achieved it he quickly attains the supreme spiritual peace.
From book  Bhagwad - Gita as it is.

Benefits of transcendental knowledge are mentioned below:

  • 1. It brings the living entity out of the illusion.
  • 2.  It helps a person to handle miseries.
  • 3. It helps us to destroy reactions to actions motivated by material desires
  • 4.  It is very sublime and pure.
  • 5. A Person who is doing devotional service will experience this knowledge in his heart in due course of time.
  • 6. It gives spiritual peace but requires subduing of senses.

You should approach a spiritual master and request him to initiate you. He will pull you out of illusion and provide you with transcendental knowledge through which you will see that all the living beings are part and parcels of God. The doubt in one's mind should be destroyed by knowledge. Those who have no faith in God and scriptures do not attain God-consciousness and fall down in the material pool and remain forever in sorrow and anxieties throughout this life and life after death as doubting soul will live a miserable and distressful life without happiness.

You have to be very careful in the selection of spiritual master these days as there are some bogus Spiritual masters available in this world who exploit the disciples and ruins their Life.

In this world, there is nothing so sublime and pure as transcendental knowledge. Such knowledge is the mature fruit of all mysticism. And one who has become accomplished in the practice of devotional service enjoys this knowledge within himself in due course of time.
- From Book: bhagavad Gita as it is.

Thanks for reading the blog.

Obeisance to my spiritual master and God.

PURE CONSCIOUSNESS

PURE CONSCIOUSNESS
Here God Krishna is saying to Arjuna that to be in pure transcendental consciousness, it is necessary for a person to give up all the varieties of sense gratifications which arise from engagement of senses as per urges of satisfaction of gratifications on the direction of mind which is not stable and wandering here and there and which is the friend and enemy of a person.

Mind is our friend if we are able to control it and mind is our enemy if we allow ourselves to be controlled by it. These urges for the satisfaction of material sense gratification arise because of the tendency of mental concoction in us which make us believe something which is not true.

It is just like if we add different ingredients in a new way to make some new meal. Our mind has a tendency of mental concoction as it picks some part of the story from somewhere and remaining parts from some other stories and presents a new picture in front of us which appears to be astonishing but in reality, the n…

Pious Manners

Pious Manners
There is a chain of events to reach soul happiness. It starts from good thoughts and good thoughts lead to good manners and it leads to the pious mind and which leads to soul happiness.

It is in the company of Saints/sages/good people that we generate or inculcate good thoughts. A good company is the requisite for self-realization. The biggest hindrance to self-realization is arrogance and pride. Humility is the most important factor for self-realization. The way you thought the way you work. Keep your thought pure to do goods actions which leads to good habits or manners. Thoughts engrossed in material things leads to unhappiness. Godly thoughts are our real Saviours. Bad thoughts are like seeds of thorn yielding plants.

Keep a vigil on the three main sense organs such as eyes, mouth, ear. Engage these sense organs in devotion to God or else they will drag you down to hell. Whatever we hear, see, or speak has a tremendous effect on our mind and consciousness. Engage ear …

Last thought

Last thought
Brahman is non-destructive and exists eternally without any change. Karma creates the material bodies of living entities. Karma forces us to take a new body after our death. It may be a body of human, bird, animal, or any demigod depending on the consciousness in which we left our last breath. We keep the remembrance of God in our entire life so that at the last moment of our life, we should not miss the chance to go back to where we actually belong and that is the abode of the home of our God.

Hear, remember, the chant holy name of God isthree pillars of our life of spiritual realization. The material nature is consistently undergoing changes. Change is the bitter truth of life. We should not get ourselves attached to the material world consisting of our family, society, nation, relatives, bank balance, home, property, and other material things otherwise we will feel immense pain when a constant and continuous change of material nature will snatch these things from us. Yo…

Humility

Humility
Humility is the prerequisite for advancement on the path of self-realization and devotion to God. Our spiritual master has instructed us through holy sermons and discourses that we should be humble to deal with pride and false ego in us.

This humble nature protects us from persons puffed up with a false sense of proprietorship, ego, and pride. Some venomous persons remain enthusiastic about how to pick a quarrel with anybody without any good reasons as they are blind due to power, money, false ego, pride, and muscle power. They love to hurl abuses, insult, and humiliate anybody without any good reason. This age which is called "Kaliyug" is the age of hypocrisy and quarrel.

The best way to deal with these people is to remain humble and increase the quality of humility in us. Whenever you come across these types of people than just remain humble and pacified them with your humility. We do not have to hurt their pride or ego but try to put our point peacefully and try to…

Concentration

ConcentrationAs per Bhagavad-Gita, the devotee who concentrates his mind on God Shri Krishna will reach the abode of God after death if he remember God Shri Krishna at the time of his death. The concentration of mind towards God should be just like the concentration of women towards water collected in an earthen pot which they carry over their heads while returning to home after filling water in the earthen pot from a pond located far away from their home. This scene is quite visible in Indian villages. The women placed the earthen pot on their heads and do not allow water to spill from the pot although they travel large distances on uneven ground and keep talking to each other while walking but because their concentration remains in the water of the pot. Similarly, Juggler juggling with balls and acrobat making balance on a tight rope are other examples of strong concentration that help these people perform well in their profession. Gymnastics are also known for their high concentrat…
