Why are we here?

Why are we here?

All the living entities are part and parcel of God Shri Krishna and eternal servants of God Shri Krishna. We tend to enjoy and control because these properties are found in our father God Shri Krishna. All the properties of God are found in us because we are, the minute souls, children of God and God is our originator but these qualities are available in us in minute quantities. We are qualitatively one with God.

We have also minute independence in us which is provided by God to us and when any soul misuse this independence to create a desire in him to enjoy separately from God Shri Krishna and try to become controller rather than a eternal servant of God Shri Krishna and desires to be centre of attraction in place of God Shri Krishna by misusing minute independence provided to him by God Shri Krishna, at that very moment, that soul comes in grip of strict material energy and found himself transferred to this miserable and dangerous material world from spiritual sky called Golok Vrindavan to be the centre of attraction, controller and enjoyer in this material world but that soul eventually gets frustrated and suffered a lot due to constantly changing nature of the material world, the grip of three modes of material nature and vices such as lust, greed, anger, attachment, proud, enmity and web of karma which gets complex with each rebirth and soul find it as mission impossible to get out of this material world. He has to suffer continously by his body, mind, other beings, natural calamities.

God Shri Krishna which is father of all the soul is very merciful and wants his obstinate child to return to him. He therefore provided instructions in Bhagavad Gita so that living entities can follow them to get out of this material entanglement. God Shri Krishna is present in the heart of all living entities and when any living entity starts bhakti-yoga to return to the kingdom of God, God Shri Krishna provide necessary knowledge and directions to his child through his heart to enable him to proceed on the path of liberation.

We are forced to take birth by reactions of our actions. We, therefore are, forced to enjoy or suffer due to our past karma. It is just like a blazing forest fire as no one wants it but still it ignites on it's on and ravages large area of forest. No one wants drought, floods, earthquakes but still they come.

However, if you are on the path of Bhakti Yoga then God Krishna by his mercy will decrease the intensity of suffering but you will have to suffer the consequences of your bad karma. No one can save you from that sufferings on account of reactions against bad actions committed by you. This material world is a miserable and dangerous place to suffer just like criminals in prison. It is not a joy ride.

Respected obeisances unto my spiritual master and God Shri Krishna.
